The collection at the museum features artifacts from diverse periods of Buffalo's history, including uniforms and weapons from the War of 1812 and the largest collection of antique textiles in Western New York. The society is located in Delaware Park, just across the road from Buffalo State College and close to the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Darwin D. Martin House Complex.
