The New York Central Terminal was built in 1842 and at one point was the main transfer point for the entire northern region of the state. Currently the historic Art Deco building is undergoing extensive renovations, tours of the terminal focus on the architecture of the exterior and main hall of the terminal. The terminal is located three miles east of the city center, within walking distance of Sperry Park.
