Considered one of the prime examples of his Prairie style architecture, the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Darwin D. Martin House Complex features the massive renovated 1904 home. Featuring the characteristic horizontal emphasis of form and interlinked buildings, the home was originally nearly 30,000 square feet in size. Guided tours of the home display some of Wright's characteristic styles as well as those objects unique to the Darwin D. Martin House, such as the hundreds of pieces of art glass that provided both light and beauty. Located close to Delaware Park, the complex is just a few miles east of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
