The Buffalo Lighthouse was built in 1833 and is the oldest structure on the Buffalo waterfront. Though the historic site cannot be reached by public transportation, a great view of the towering building can be had from the north bank of the Buffalo River. The lighthouse is located across the water from the Buffalo and Erie Naval Park.
